Illustrator & Graphic Designer
(3-Month Mentored Probation)
Tatt Tale is opening a 3-month paid probation opportunity for an Illustrator & Graphic Designer, with the chance to continue in an ongoing role after the initial period.
This is more than just a job — it’s a creative journey. During probation, you’ll not only contribute to our projects, but also receive mentorship from our Creative Director to help you refine your artistic voice, strengthen your portfolio, and grow as a professional illustrator/designer.
What you’ll do
Illustrate and design for picture books, zines, prints, and digital products.
Work closely with the Creative Director on live projects, receiving feedback and guidance.
Learn how to prepare and adapt artwork for both print and digital platforms.
Collaborate in shaping the visual identity of Tatt Tale, exploring styles and ideas.

Portfolio development support — with opportunities to showcase your work in real projects.
Encouragement to experiment with new techniques and develop your own creative strengths.
What we’re looking for
- Strong illustration and graphic design skills (digital and/or traditional).
- Proficiency in Procreate, Adobe Suite, or equivalent tools.
- A curious, open attitude — willing to learn and receive feedback.
- Passion for art, storytelling, and themes of emotional well-being.
- Reliability in meeting deadlines and ability to work independently.
The probation period
This is a 3-month mentored probation role (paid). We’ll use this time to see how your style, skills, and growth align with Tatt Tale’s creative direction.
At the end, there may be opportunities for ongoing employment or project collaborations.
